Educational History
Prior to enrolling in Texas State's EdTech program, technology was only a hobby and my skills were quite limited. My technology use consisted of work related tasks and social activities. I rarelly integrated technology in my lesson development and my classroom instruction.
While pursuing my graduated studdies in bilingual education, I enrolled in EDTC 5310 as part of my minor. This course made me reflect on my classroom practices involving technology, and it inspired me to grow as an educator. By the end of the semester I had transferred into the Educational Technology Masters Program.
The experience I have had in the EdTech program has shifted my entire view of education. It has shaped my philosophy and pedagogy. I walk away from the program with an abundance of ideas, knowledge, and resources to bring to any classroom, IT, or administrative position.
